Chief Chris Mccord, Deputy Chief Marc Andrews and City of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown will be having a rare outdoor meeting on Saturday, February 9, and the conversation is expected to get pretty icy.  What’s the topic you ask? The Polar Plunge of course!!

On Saturday, February 9, 2019, we will once again be hosting the Polar Plunge, presented by the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run, which provides a fun opportunity to support Special Olympics Ontario athletes in our community by stepping or jumping into some freezing cold water.  Since 2015, the Polar Plunge has raised $146,750 for Special Olympics, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the athletes through sports programs, uniforms and accommodations for events.

Come on out and brave the cold with over 100 other participants including Chief Chris Mccord, Deputy Chief Marc Andrews and Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown, who will be taking the plunge at the Peel Regional Police Association, 10675 Mississauga Road, Brampton.  Or, click here to sponsor the Chief, Deputy Chief, Mayor, or any other participant in this eye opening event.
