Fourth Arrest Made in Mississauga Murder
Region of Peel â A fourth arrest has been made in a murder investigation that occurred in the City of Mississauga on Monday, March 11, 2019, that took the life of a 32-year-old man.
On Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:18 a.m., police were called to a commercial plaza in the area of Dundas Street and Cawthra Road, in Mississauga for a shooting. Michael Deabaitua-Schulde, a 32-year-old man from Mississauga, was transported to a trauma centre with gunshot wounds. He later succumbed to his injuries.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, Marckens Vilme, a 28-year-old man from Montreal, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, Brandon Reyes, a 24-year-old man from Montreal, was arrested and charged with Accessory After the Fact.
A Canada wide warrant for First Degree Murder for Joseph Pallotta, a 38-year-old man from Montreal, was also issued at that time. On March 17, 2019, Joseph Pallotta surrendered to Montreal Police.
On March 20, 2019, Marc Issa El-Khoury, a 26-year-old man from Montreal, was arrested for First Degree Murder while trying to cross the border into the United States from Champlain, Quebec. Investigators are working on having him returned to the Region to answer to the charge.
