Firearm Seized During Traffic Stop

Region of Peel – Investigators from 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged four individuals with numerous firearms related offences.

On Monday, September 3, 2018 at approximately 8:08 p.m. officers from 21 Division investigated a motor vehicle in the area of Monica Drive and Brandon Gate Drive in the city of Mississauga. Investigation revealed the occupants to be in possession of a loaded Glock 22, 40 caliber hand gun with a 31 round magazine.

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged Shane Lewis, an 18 year-old male, Grant Keneel, an 18 year-old male of Toronto, Hanan Abdisamat, a 30 year-old female, and Zegra Ali, a 21 year-old female of Toronto, with numerous firearm related offences.  

All four parties were held for a bail hearing at the A. Grenville & William Davis Court House in the city of Brampton.
