FAIL TO REMAIN â Male Still Wanted, Female Arrested
Region of Peel â Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are advising a female wanted in regards to a fail to remain incident that occurred in the City of Mississauga, has been arrested.
On Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:48 a.m. an altercation between several patrons occurred inside a nightclub located at Enfield Place and Kariya Drive, Mississauga.
The altercation continued out on to the street when one of the males involved retrieved his vehicle. He then drove up on to the sidewalk and struck 5 people that were involved in the altercation. A 23 year-old female victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. The four other victims suffered minor non-life threatening injuries.
On Thursday, December 27, 2018, a warrant of arrest was issued for Michael Polynice, a 37 year-old male from Toronto.
Michael Polynice is wanted for three counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Dangerous Operation Cause Bodily Harm, and one count of Fail to Stop.
On Monday, January 7, 2019, a warrant of arrest was issued for Nicole Bergsma, a 33 year-old female from St. Charles, Ontario.
On March 28, 2019, Nicole Bergsma attended 12 Division and turned herself in. Bergsma is charged with five counts of Criminal Negligence Cause Bodily Harm, and one count of Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
Nicole Bergsma was held for a bail hearing and will attend the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on, March 28, 2019 in answer to the charges.
Michael Polynice is still wanted.
