Eliminate Violence Against Women

November 25th is the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women and Peel Regional Police want to empower women to speak up and stop the silence. Victims of crime or tragic circumstances should not feel shame or fear to stand up for themselves regardless of race, class, culture, age, ability or sexual orientation.

Our policy is to protect life by strongly investigating incidents of violence. We support victims through community partnerships that are designed to improve quality of life. We also encourage creating Personal Safety Plans and Children Safety Plans.
