Delivery Thefts Police Charge Four Individuals

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested four people involved in delivery thefts in Brampton.  

Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant around the holiday season, with packages and high priced items being mailed and delivered to their residences.  Recently there has been an increase in the number of thefts of deliveries and from community mailboxes. 

We are asking public to be mindful when having packages left at their front doors and if they notice anything suspicious around their mailboxes to contact Police. 

To date four individuals have been arrested and charged.   

A 35-year-old man was charged with Mischief Under and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 20, 2019.

A 39-year-old man from Toronto was charged with Possession Property Obtained by Crime x 3, Forgery/make False Document, Possession Break in Instruments and Breach of Probation Order. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on December 11, 2019.

A 26-year-old man from Toronto was charged with Possession Property Obtained by Crime x 3, Possession Break In Instruments and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on December 19, 2019.

A 24-year-old man from Mississauga, he was charged with Possession Property Obtained by Crime x 2 and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on December 19, 2019.
