Daylight Shooting Results in Peel Region's Fourth Murder of 2019

Region of Peel – Members of the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the Region's fourth murder of 2019.

On Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:18 a.m., police were called to a commercial plaza in the area of Dundas Street and Cawthra Road, in Mississauga for a shooting.

Police attended the scene and located a male victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.  The victim, a 32 year-old man from Mississauga, was transported to a trauma centre where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The suspects are described as two men wearing dark hoodies who fled the area. A blue Honda Civic was located on fire in the area of Rymal Road and Tomken Road; it is possibly related to this incident.
