Canada Wide Warrant Sought for Male Wanted for Attempt Murder

Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance with an investigation into an Attempt Murder that occurred in the Mississauga area.

On Saturday, November 10, 2018, at approximately 11:12p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Delmonte Crescent and Brandon Gate Drive in the City of Mississauga.    

Police attended this location and located a number of shell casings along with a suspect vehicle that had sustained damage as a result of a collision with several parked vehicles. All parties believed to be involved in the shooting had fled the area prior to police attendance. The targeted victim of this shooting was later identified and found to have not sustained any injuries.

The party responsible for this shooting has been identified as Travon Edwards-Bryan, a 23-year-old male from Mississauga.  On Sunday, November 25, 2018, police executed a search warrant at the residence of Edwards-Bryan however he was not located at that time.  Police believe that Travon Edwards-Bryan is a threat to public safety, may be armed and dangerous and is evading capture.

As a result, a Canada Wide arrest warrant is being sought for Travon Edwards-Bryan.  He is described as male black, 6’4”, approximately 170 lbs with a medium build.
