Canada Wide Arrest Warrant Issued in 16th Homicide of the Year
Region of Peel â Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have obtained a Canada Wide Arrest Warrant for first degree murder, in relation the regions 16th homicide of 2018.
On July 16, 2018, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Donwoods Court in the City of Brampton. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim suffering from obvious signs of trauma. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Palwinder Singh, a 27-year-old male from Brampton.
On July 16, 2018, investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau arrested two males from Mississauga; 18-year-old Sean Ponto and 19-year-old Andrew Edward.
Investigators have identified a third person responsible for the murder and have issued a Canada Wide Arrest Warrant. Nebill Albayaty, an 18-year-old male from the City of Toronto is wanted for first degree murder.
Nebill Albayaty is described as male black, 5â9â, with a thin build.
Investigators are encouraging him to seek legal counsel and turn himself in to the nearest police station.
He is considered a danger to the public and if located do not approach, call 911 immediately.
