Brampton Transit Driver Assaulted

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who assaulted a City of Brampton Transit driver.

On November 4, 2018, at approximately 12:49 a.m. the victim was operating a transit bus on Bovaird Drive at Van Kirk Drive, Brampton. An unknown individual boarded the bus and refused to pay. The victim stopped the bus and asked the individual to pay or get off the bus. The suspect proceeded to punch and kick the victim. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspect is described as: Male, black, light skin, thin build, 5'9-5'10, blue bomber jacket, and wearing grey pants.
