Brampton Man Charged for Firearm Offences

Region of Peel – Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a male with numerous firearms related offences.

On Tuesday September 11, 2018, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Peel Regional Police were contacted and made aware of a male that was in possession of a firearm, at a residence in the City of Brampton. The male was arrested without incident and officers later located a Uzi sub-machine gun within the residence.

As a result, Anthony SINGH, a 33 year-old male from Brampton, was charged with numerous firearms related offences.  SINGH was held in custody and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 12, 2018
