Brampton Man Arrested for Sex Related Crimes

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit have arrested and charged a male for several sex related offences.

In late 2016, the victim, who was 14 years-old at the time, was put in contact with the accused who was employed as a counselor with an agency that provides mental health services for children in the Region of Peel.

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit were recently contacted by the victim, who reported several sex related incidents that occurred over a 12 month period between the victim and the accused.

On Tuesday, September 18, 2018, Dennington Duncan, a 51 year-old man from Brampton, appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing in relation to the charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
