Boys & Girls Club of Peel Presented with Donation

Every year during the summer months Peel Regional Police hosts Police and Community Fun Day and open houses at each of the divisions. Bureaus such as Forensics, Marine, Tactical, Vice, Explosives Disposal and Arial Support showcase their work at different stations set up in the parking lot. Police Day offers a variety of fun and free activities for the whole family. This is a wonderful opportunity for community members to learn more about how we keep them safe.

This year, we hosted a small BBQ which raised $1,825.45. We’re proud to support our local charities with the funds raised. This year 100% of the proceeds is going to Boys and Girls Club of Peel whose mission is to provide a safe place for activities to support the development of confidence, learning and positive relationships. On July 31, 2019, the Boys and Girls Club received the donation at the Peel Children’s Safety Village.
