Assistance Sought in Car Theft Investigation



Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau seek assistance from the public in locating and identifying suspects involved in multiple car theft incidents. One suspect has been identified as Calvin PEACOCK, a 39-year old male of No Fixed Address. Peel Regional Police have issued a warrant for PEACOCK’s arrest for the following offences:

- Possession of Property obtained by crime (x2)
- Theft of Motor vehicle
- Dangerous operation of Motor vehicle
Calvin PEACOCK is known to arrange test drives for high end vehicles that are listed for sale online by members of th e public. PEACOCK has driven stolen vehicles in an aggressive manner towards victims showing no concern for public safety. PEACOCK operates in the Region of Peel and in other jurisdictions throughout the province.
Security footage captured a car theft incident involving PEACOCK on May 15, 2023 in the Mayfield area, in the town of Caledon. This incident is being investigated by the Ontario Provincial Police.
If the whereabouts of Peacock are known, do not approach and contact Police immediately.
Investigators are also seeking assistance from members of our community to identify a male believed to be involved in some of these vehicle thefts.
Description: male non-white, medium complexion, approx. 5’8”, thin build, with short black hair, full beard and glasses.
