Arrests Made in a Series of Commercial Robberies

Region of Peel – The Central Robbery Bureau has arrested two individuals from Toronto in relation to a series of armed robberies targeting cellular phone stores within the region.

Between May 29 and June 8, 2025, a series of armed robberies took place targeting retail establishments selling cellular phones. Multiple suspects used hammers and other objects to smash glass store fronts and vestibules to gain entry into the stores. Once inside, the suspects stole currency and merchandise before fleeing in a stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle remains outstanding.

Following the subsequent investigation, the following suspects were identified, arrested and charged:

18-year-old Nosakhare Ero

  • Robbery x3
  • Wear Disguise with Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence x3
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

17-year-old young person

  • Robbery x4
  • Wear Disguise with Intent x4
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x2

Both individuals were held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

A general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of the name of a Young Person, and, therefore, the identity of the Young Persons charged in this investigation is protected.

A search warrant was executed at a residence in Toronto where investigators seized offence related property. This investigation remains ongoing, and police anticipate more arrests and charges.
