Arrest made in Sexual Assault Case
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit (SVU) have charged a man for sexually assaulting multiple females under the age of 16.
Between September 2024 to June 2025, it is alleged that the accused communicated through social media with multiple female victims, using the online name, “-PoloPapi-”. The accused engaged in sexual relations with the victims who were under the age of 16.
On Wednesday June 18, Carlos Galeano, a 28-year-old man from Mississauga was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
- Sexual Assault X2
- Sexual Interference X2
- Breach of Probation Order
- Assault
Galeano was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
