Arrest Made in Sex Trafficking Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Specialized Enforcement Bureau VICE unit have charged a man with sex trafficking offences.
On Aug. 25, 2025, two female victims reported to police that they were being asked by their employer to perform sexual favours at their workplace.
Both victims began working at the Cozy VR Spa located in Brampton, a spa that incorporates virtual reality with services. The victims were providing legitimate services as estheticians at the Spa but were soon asked by their boss to offer sexual services as add-ons to make more money.
On Aug. 25, Zain Al A'Rafreen a 30-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Procuring X2
- Exercise Control, Direction or Influence X2
He was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and/or witnesses and are urging anyone with information to call the Investigators at 905-453-2121 ext 3454.
