Arrest Made in Multiple Armed Robberies
Region of Peelâ Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau have arrested a male who was responsible for multiple robberies in the Region of Peel and stretching into Halton Region.
The incidents started sometime between Wednesday September 4, 2019 and Monday Speptember 9, 2019. There were five incidents in total, In all five incidents the accused arrived on a sport type motorcycle. The accused attempted to conceal his identity by painting his motorbike, and helmet nearly after every incident.
The accused was targeting gas station convenience stores along with fast food establishments. In each incident the accused would point an imitation firearm at the employees and demanded cash.
Investigators from Peel and Halton Regions were able to to identify a suspect. On September 10, 2019 investigators arrested 25 year-old Dalton Symon, of no fixed address.
Symon was charged with the following offences:
- Five counts of Robbery
- Four counts of Use Iminatation Firearm
- Five counts of Wearing a Disguise
- One count of possesstion of stolen
- Theft Under $5000
