Arrest Made in Flight from Police Investigation

Region of Peel – Officers from 11 Division have arrested and charged a man who fled from police during a traffic stop in Mississauga.
On March 20, 2025, uniform officers conducted a traffic stop on an individual operating a black-coloured vehicle with license plates not correctly assigned to it in the area of Central Parkway and Confederation Parkway. After a brief interaction, the suspect refused to identify himself and fled in the vehicle, mounting the sidewalk and proceeding onto the roadway at a high rate of speed.
Following a thorough investigation, officers executed a search warrant, seizing property, arresting and charging Kostyantyn Konchakov, a 21-year-old man from Toronto, with the following offences:
- Flight from Peace Officer
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Fraud Under $5000 x3
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x2
- Possession of Break-in Instruments
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance
Konchakov was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
