Arrest Made in Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence Investigation
Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police have made an arrest in a conspiracy to commit an indictable offence investigation that occurred in Brampton.

The victim contacted police and officers located the accused a short distance away. During this interaction, the accused produced an imitation firearm and threw it into a snowbank.
As a result, Jagdeep Singh, a 20-year-old male from Brampton, was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
At the time of his arrest, the accused was also in possession of a backpack containing bunches of rope, rolls of tape, gloves and two knives.
Singh was held pending a bail hearing.
