Arrest Made in Brampton Fail to Remain
Region of Peel â Officers from 22 Division Uniform Patrol have made an arrest in a fail to remain incident that occurred in the City of Brampton.
On Friday August 10, 2018 at approximately 12:59 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Wanless Drive and Tournament Drive in Brampton. Police spoke with two victims who advised that they both had their vehicles struck by a female driving a white sedan and that the vehicle had fled the scene.
One victim attempted to stop the female from leaving and was struck by the vehicle causing minor injuries.
Carly Napoli, an 18 year-old female from Brampton was arrested and charged with:
Fail to Remain at Scene of Accident x 2
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
Napoli was released with an upcoming court date for September at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Peel Regional police are aware that the incident was caught on video and that it has been uploaded on social media.
