Appeal for Witnesses in Mississauga Stabbings
Region of Peel - Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public regarding the incident that began at Cawthra Road and Burnhamthorpe Road, ending on Holden Crescent in the City Mississauga.
On Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 9:14 a.m., a call was received for a collision involving two vehicles on Cawthra Road and Burnhamthorpe Road. The suspect driving a silver Honda struck the victim's vehicle and then fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries; he remained on scene and was the sole occupant.
The suspect fled on foot and possibly accessed a bicycle to flee the area. He ended up entering a nearby residence on Holden Crescent where he viciously attacked an elderly couple as well as an adjacent elderly neighbor. All the victims were taken to hospital and treated for their injuries.
The suspect is described as male, medium complexion, shaved head, late twenties, wearing a burgundy hoodie.
