Appeal for Witnesses in Mississauga Shooting
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance as they investigate a shooting in the City of Mississauga.
On Saturday February 24, 2018 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Peel Regional Police attended the area of 3125 Queen Frederica Drive for reports of a shooting. Officers attended the scene and did not locate a victim.
Investigators reviewed video surveillance from the area and observed an altercation involving two suspects and a victim. The altercation ended with a shot being fired at the victim. All three parties fled the area.
First suspect: Male Middle Eastern, 5’8, medium build, black hair and chin strap beard, approximately 20 years old, parka style jacket.
Second Suspect: Male Black, 6 feet tall, approximately 20 years old, medium build, blue toque, green bomber style jacket, and black pants.
The suspects were seen leaving the area in a Dodge Caliber, red in color.
Police have not been contacted by the victim. Police are concerned for the victim’s well-being and would like speak to him regarding the details of the incident.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses to the incident or any persons who may have video surveillance, dashboard video, or any information regarding the incident.
