Appeal for Witnesses in Mississauga Pedestrian Fatality

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into a pedestrian fatality.

On Monday November 20, 2017, at approximately 8:45 p.m., the victim was on Dixie Road north of Bloor Street in the City of Mississauga. At the same time, a vehicle travelling south on Dixie Road struck the victim. The vehicle remained on scene.

The victim, a 41 year-old male from Mississauga was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have witnessed the collision, have dashboard video footage of the incident or who may have information regarding the actions of the pedestrian and / or driver prior to the collision.
