Appeal for Witnesses in a Taxi Robbery
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance identifying suspects involved in a Taxi Robbery in Brampton.
On August 3, 2018, the victim a 69-year-old male from Brampton was working as a taxi driver when he picked up a fare in the area of Luella Crescent in Brampton. Three male suspects entered the cab and the victim drove them to Travis Crescent at approximated 6:25 p.m. The suspects then proceeded to assault the victim, taking his personal property and fled the area on foot.
Suspects are described as the following:
#1 Male black, approximately 25-year-old, 5’10”-6’2”, sparse goatee wearing do-rag over black hair, white tank top and gold chain.
#2 Male black, approximately 25-year-old, 5’10”-6’2”, thin build, white tank top, shirt wrapped around head.
#3 Male black, approximately 25-year-old, 5’10”, light complexion, clean shaven short black hair, clothing is unknown.
