Animal Seen In Brampton Pond Determined To Be A Beaver

 

Region of Peel– On May 1, 2020 at 8:30 p.m. Police were called to Damatta Park in the City of Brampton  in reposnse to a call from a mmber of the public who reported seeing a large aminal, possibly an alligator, swimming in a drainage pond within the park.

Officers attended and checked the area. Animal Control from the City of Brampton were called into assist.

Video of the animal had surfaced on social media. This video was viewed by members of Bramton Animal Service and the animal was determined to be a Beaver and not an alligator.
