A Need for Speed, How Fast is too Fast?

Just how fast is fast? Project E.R.A.S.E. (Eliminate Racing Activity On Streets Everywhere) launched its campaign this past weekend. Officer’s had their radar devices lit up as the highest rate of speed went to a driver travelling 61km/hr over the speed limit on our city streets. It was closely followed by other drivers exceeding the speed limit by 50 km/hr. Project E.R.A.S.E. quickly showed drivers they should slow down, as 7 suspensions and over 40 tickets were issued.

A need for speed equals a driving suspension, the vehicle towed and impounded (you pay the fees), followed by a day in court that could get you 6 months in jail or fines up to $10,000.
