25 year old Woman Arrested and Charged with Impaired Driving
Region of Peel â Officers from 22 Division have arrested and charged a 25 year-old woman for impaired driving that occurred in the City of Brampton.
On Sunday, November 18, 2018 at approximately 7:55 p.m. Alona Majetich, a 25 year old female from Brampton was operating her vehicle on Williams Parkway at Highway 410 in the City of Brampton when she was involved in a collision with a vehicle. Alona Majetich fled the scene without exchanging any information. The victim was a 68 year old woman from Brampton that suffered minor injuries.
At approximately 8:05 p.m. Alona Majetich was southbound on Main Street just north of Church Street in the City of Brampton when she drove over the centre median and struck another vehicle. The second victim was a 34 year old woman from Brampton that suffered minor injuries.
Alona Majetich was arrested and charged with the following:
- 1 count of Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident
- 1 count of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- 1 count of Excess Blood Alcohol
- 2 counts of Drive Disqualified
- 2 counts of Breach of Probation
Alona Majetich was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on November 19, 2018.
