2019 Community Crime Awareness Day

Looking for a great day out with family and friends? If you enjoy great food, live entertainment and many fun activities then plan to join us on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Annual Community Crime Awareness Day (CCAD) event at Mississauga Celebration Square.

This one-day event hosted by the Mississauga Chinese Business Association began 18 years ago. It is a celebration of cultural diversity and a chance for people from all different backgrounds to come together and gain a better understanding of crime awareness as well as to enjoy the richness and beauty of each culture that makes Mississauga such a diverse city.

The event features over 60 booth displays such as Peel Regional Police, Fire Department and St. John Ambulance as well as some featured special events such as:

  • Mississauga Food Fair. Food vendors will highlight a large variety of delicious Asian and local food. 
  • Lantern Festival. Hundreds of lanterns will be lit up throughout the Square towards the evening to usher in the good omens of Mid-Autumn Festival as well as signifying the Thanksgiving of abundant harvest and prosperity.  Free lanterns will be distributed at the event.
  • Mini Concert. Lady Gaga Impersonator will perform as well as an Abba Tribute Show.
