1st Degree Murder Arrests in the 13th Homicide of 2018
Region of Peel â Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have arrested two parties in relation to the 13th Homicide of 2018 which claimed the life of a man from Brampton.
On Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 4:43 a.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence located on Martree Crescent in the City of Brampton. Upon arrival officers located the victim with no vital signs inside of the residence. Lifesaving efforts were attempted but the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
The victim, Brandon Hall, is a 21 year-old Brampton resident.
On Friday, November 2, 2018, Homicide investigators executed multiple search warrants in the Brampton area. Two male parties were arrested for 1st Degree Murder.
Evan Wright, 19 years of age and Philip Fitzpatrick, 21 years of age are both from the Brampton area. They were charged with 1st Degree Murder and held for a bail hearing. They are scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday, November 3, 2018.
