147 Criminal Charges
Region of Peel â Investigators from the 22 Division Break and Enter Unit have charged two men with a combined total of 147 criminal offences that occurred within Mississauga and Brampton.
In November 2018, an investigation was commenced in regards to numerous commercial break and enters occurring within the Region of Peel.
On February 27, 2019, Brandon Ginn a 25 years-old from Brampton was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
Break & Enter & Theft x 17
Break & Enter with Intent x 1
Attempt Break & Enter x 2
Possession of Stolen Property x 5
Breach Probation x 68
Drive Disqualified x 8
Operation while Prohibited x18
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle x 1
Flight from Police x 1
Mischief Over $5000 x 1
He was held for bail court and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on February 28, 2019.
A second suspect was identified as Hunter Prevost a 21 years-old from Brampton. On March 11, 2019 he was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
Break, Enter and Commit an Indictable offence x 15
Disguise with Intent x 7
Possession of Break-Instruments x 1
Possession of prohibited weapon x 1
Fail to comply with recognizance x 1
He was held for bail court and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on March 12, 2019
Due to our investigation, Halton Regional Police and OPP Caledon are laying additional charges on Brandon Ginn and Hunter Prevost.
Approximately $200,000.00 worth of stolen property has since been recovered.
