About Us

Peel Children’s Safety Village is a hands‑on educational centre that helps children in Grades 1–3 and Grade 5 build lifelong safety skills. Through immersive, age‑appropriate experiences, students practice real‑world safety rules they’ve learned at school and at home, turning knowledge into confident action.

Our interactive programs focus on community awareness, internet safety and accident prevention, empowering children to make safe choices both online and in their everyday environments.

“Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I will understand.”

This philosophy has guided Peel Children’s Safety Village since its launch in 1994. Created as an innovative community partnership, the Village provides a unique learning environment where children don’t just learn about safety – they live it.

At its core, Peel Children’s Safety Village is committed to reducing preventable injuries, including traffic‑related incidents, which remain a leading cause of serious harm to young children. By offering a realistic, engaging setting beyond the classroom, the Village gives students the opportunity to practice safe behaviours, build confidence, and develop skills that can last a lifetime.
