Update: Woman Wanted in Large-Scale Break-In Spree Involving 71 Vehicles in Mississauga

Region of Peel – Investigators with the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a woman who is wanted in connection with an investigation into vehicle break-ins across Mississauga.

The incidents occurred during the early morning hours of Sept. 3 and Sept. 6 and targeted neighbourhoods throughout Mississauga. Investigators allege that vehicles were unlawfully entered, either by smashing windows or taking advantage of unlocked doors, and valuables were stolen.

No vehicles were stolen and all vehicles were unoccupied at the time.

Andrea Cederberg, 33, of no fixed address, is wanted in connection with the investigation on the following charges:

  • Attempt to Commit an Indictable Offence x 23
  • Mischief Over $5,000 x 9
  • Theft Under $5,000 x 9
  • Theft Over $5,000 x 1

This incident is connected to the recent arrest of Cory Lowden, 34 of no fixed address.

Investigators have also identified potential connections to similar vehicle-crime investigations being conducted in Halton Region, Toronto, York Region and Waterloo Region. Police continue to work with policing partners across the Greater Toronto Area to determine the full scope of the alleged activities.
