25th Annual

Race Against Racism

Celebrating 25 Years

Peel Regional Police is proud to mark the 25th anniversary of the Race Against Racism, one of our longest-running community events. For 25 years, we have brought people together to promote unity, inclusion, fitness, and community connection across Peel Region.

All proceeds support youth scholarships, helping young people in our community reach their education and future goals. This milestone year celebrates the thousands who have participated and the many lives positively impacted.

Presenting Sponsor

Anti-Racism Advisory Committee (ARAC)

The Anti-Racism Advisory Committee (ARAC) is proud to be a presenting sponsor of the 2026 Race Against Racism in partnership with Peel Regional Police.

ARAC is a community-led advisory body established as part of Peel Regional Police’s Human Rights Project, working to advance anti-racism, equity, accountability and trust between police and the communities they serve. ARAC provides independent community perspectives, supports transparency and helps ensure meaningful progress on systemic change.

Through this partnership, ARAC is committed to strengthening community engagement, promoting youth empowerment, and creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue around trust, transparency, equity, and inclusion.

ARAC at the Race

At this year’s Race Against Racism, ARAC will be engaging with residents and families through interactive community stations designed to raise awareness of the Human Rights Project, celebrate progress, and encourage stronger partnerships across Peel Region.
