Update: Suspect Arrested Following Stabbing Investigation in Mississauga
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested and charged a Brampton man in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Mississauga.
On Friday, August 1, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers responded to a commercial unit in the area of Dixie Road and Aimco Boulevard in Mississauga for reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local trauma centre in serious but stable condition and is expected to recover.
As a result of the investigation, Gregory Darling, a 32-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested on August 2, and charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
