Public Assistance Sought in Suspicious Person Investigation in Brampton
Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police are investigating an incident involving a child who was approached by an unknown male while walking home in Brampton.
On Wednesday, Sep. 23, 2026, between 3:30 and 3:55 p.m., a child was walking in the area of Flamingo Crescent and Forsythia Road when they were approached from behind by an unknown male, resulting in a brief physical interaction. The youth was able to disengage and leave the area. No physical injuries were reported.
The male was last seen walking eastbound on Forsythia Road toward Folkstone Crescent.
The suspect is described as a South Asian male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately six feet tall, with a slim build and straight, medium-length black hair that touches his ears. He was wearing a black cloth face mask covering the lower portion of his face, a white T-shirt and long brown pants.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam, doorbell or other video surveillance from the area at the time of the incident to contact police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
