Peel Regional Police Arrest Brampton Man in a Human Trafficking Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Vice and Human Trafficking Unit have arrested a 23-year-old Brampton man in connection with a human trafficking investigation.

In April, Peel Regional Police was alerted to a female who was being trafficked within the sex industry. Between October 2025 and February 2026, it is alleged that the accused manipulated her into working in the sex trade. 

It is further alleged that the accused then took control of aspects of the victim’s life, created advertisements, located clients, and financially benefitted from her exploitation. 

On April 24, Kabir Jangra, 23, from Brampton was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Procuring
  • Advertising Sexual Services
  • Communicate For Sexual Service
  • Trafficking Persons
  • Receiving Benefits Resulting from Trafficking in Persons
  • Receive Material Benefits from Sexual Services
  • Exercise Control

Jangra was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
