One Arrested, Second Suspect Sought in Mississauga Double Stabbing
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have arrested one individual and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an outstanding suspect following a stabbing incident in Mississauga.
On Saturday, August 29, at approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to the area of Dundas Street West and Parkerhill Road for reports of a disturbance in a parking lot.
Upon arrival, officers located two adult men suffering from stab wounds following a reported parking dispute. Both victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries and are now in stable condition.
Officers searched the area and quickly located one of the suspects without incident. Ali Halimi, a 30‑year‑old man from Mississauga, was arrested and charged with Assault.
A second male suspect, believed to have stabbed the victims and to be in possession of the knife, remains outstanding and is wanted for Attempted Murder:
- He is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build, medium complexion, thinning brown hair, and an unshaven appearance.
- He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Nike sweatpants, a black cross‑body bag, and white and grey Air Jordan shoes with a black logo. Please see the attached photo of the suspect during the incident.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, members of the public are advised not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
