Individual Charged Following Fatal Caledon Collision Investigation

Region of Peel – An individual has been arrested and charged following a fatal collision in Caledon.

At approximately 5:20 a.m. on March 19, 2026, officers responded to a serious collision near the intersection of Caledon/East Garafraxa Town-Line and 19 Line in Caledon. The collision involved a 2015 Volkswagen Golf, operated by the accused, and a 2011 Chevrolet Impala.

The driver of the Chevrolet Impala sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The accused sustained significant injuries and was transported to a trauma centre for treatment.

At the request of the OPP, Peel Regional Police conducted the investigation into the collision. As a result of the investigation, Antonio Isho, 29, of Guelph, ON, was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation Causing Death on August 17, 2026.

Isho was released on an undertaking to appear at a future date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
