Four Charged in Mississauga Firearm Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators with the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) have arrested and charged several individuals following a firearm investigation.
On Monday, Sept. 7, police were called to the area of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street West in Mississauga, for reports of a man with a gun in a vehicle.
Officers located the suspect, who was found to be in possession of an illegal firearm and a separate magazine containing ammunition. Police also seized a quantity of suspected cocaine and fentanyl with an estimated value of $65,000.
Following further investigation and the execution of a search warrant at a Mississauga residence, three additional individuals were arrested. They have been charged with the following:
Olamilekan Jimoh, 26-year-old, of Mississauga, has been charged with:
- Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of Firearm Without Being the Holder of a Licence
- Possession of a Firearm with Attempts to Conceal
- Unloaded Together with Ammunition Readily Accessible
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking X4
- Failure to Comply with Undertaking
Cleo Romi Reynods, 45 of Toronto was charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
Modupe Abijo, 52 of Mississauga was charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking X4
Omobodunrin Jimoh, 28 of Mississauga was charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking X4
