Canada Wide Warrant Sought for Male Wanted in Mississauga Shooting Incident
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) have issued a Canada Wide Warrant in relation to a shooting incident in Mississauga.
On Feb. 21, at 9 p.m., police responded to a plaza near Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue East, in the city of Mississauga for reports of a shooting. One victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and a second sustained life-threatening injuries.
A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for a 21-year-old Carlos Rodriguez-Rodriguez of Mississauga for the following offences:
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Carrying Concealed Weapon
- Attempt Murder
- Aggravated Assault
- Discharge Firearm with Intent
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
Rodriguez-Rodriguez is described as a male, Latin American, 5’11”, slim build, approximately 150lbs, with black hair.
