35 Year Old Man Charged with Child Luring, Investigators Seek Additional Victims

Region of Peel - Investigators from the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit have arrested and charged a 35-year-old man from Midland, Ont., in connection with an alleged case of online child luring.

In February, investigators began an investigation into an unknown individual who was allegedly using social media platforms to lure youths under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose.

Investigators identified the user as Stanley Marion, who was found to be operating multiple social media accounts under the following personas:

  • “Maverick”
  • “Yxaikir”
  • “Ace.wilde”
  • “AceryZero”
  • “MaveryZero”

On Monday, March 16, Marion was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Luring a child under the age of 16 (X2)
  • Luring a child under the age of 18

Investigators believe that the accused may have contacted additional victims online and the investigation remains active and ongoing. 

Investigators are asking anyone with information, or anyone who believes they may be an additional victim, to contact the ICE Unit at 905‑453‑2121, ext. 3490. Anonymous tips may also be provided through Peel Crime Stoppers by calling 1‑800‑222‑TIPS (8477) or by visiting PeelCrimeStoppers.ca.
