Police Seek Suspects and Vehicle after Mississauga Business Shooting

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects and a vehicle involved in a shooting in Mississauga.

On Thursday, April 2, at approximately 9:24 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Aimco Boulevard and Dixie Road. No physical injuries were reported.

Investigators believe two male suspects, both wearing all-dark clothing and black bandanas covering their faces, exited a newer-model black Dodge Durango and discharged firearms multiple times toward a business before fleeing the area. The suspect vehicle was last seen travelling westbound on Aimco Boulevard.

While the incident is believed to be targeted and isolated, residents and business owners in the area are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area to review dashcam or security footage during the relevant timeframe and report any sightings of the suspect vehicle

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at the 12 Division CIB at 905-453-2121, extension 1233. Information may also be provided anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
