Homicide Unit Investigating Mississauga Murder
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man in the City of Mississauga.
On Friday, June 12, 2020, emergency services were notified of a shooting that occurred in the area of Dundas Street East and Wharton Way. Once officers arrived at the location, they located a man inside of a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The victim in this incident is 21-year-old Abdulaziz Dubet, a resident of the City of Toronto.
Based on initial investigation, this incident appears to have occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. that same morning. Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area at that time, or anyone that has any dashboard camera footage to contact them.
