Arrest Made in 2024 Lorne Park Break and Enter
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) have charged a man in connection to a break in and theft that occurred in Mississauga.
On June 15, 2024, CIB investigated a Break and Enter and Theft that occurred at a residence near Lorne Park Road and Lakeshore Road West, in the City of Mississauga. The suspect broke into the victim’s residence and stole property, as well as the victim’s vehicle, a 2016 Porsche Cayenne that was parked in the driveway of the residence. At the time of the offences, the suspect was on a probation order for various criminal offences and prohibited from driving province-wide.
On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Caden Edwards, a 21-year-old man from Barrie, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Breach of Probation
- Operation While Prohibited
He was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
