Winter is Coming - Are You Ready for the Drive?

Winter is just around the corner and making sure your vehicle is ready should be a priority.

Here is a check list of items to look into before you start your drive.

-          Check your wipers.

-          Check to make sure you have windshield washer fluid (extra jug in the trunk).

-          Make sure your headlights are working.

-          Make sure your taillights are working.

-          Make sure you have four good winter tires.

Now that all of your equipment is in order, it is equally important to be aware of your driving. Maneuvers like fast, jerky steering movements or abrupt braking or acceleration can cause slipping and sliding. You can prevent these potentially dangerous driving movements by keeping a good following distance and avoiding any distractions – keep your eyes on the road.  Let’s have a safe winter season.
