Watch Last Year’s Event

It’s that bone-chilling time of year again and what’s better than dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh??  The Polar Plunge of course!!  For the fifth straight year we will be hosting the Polar Plunge, presented by the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run, which provides a fun opportunity to support Special Olympics Ontario athletes by stepping or jumping into some freezing cold water.  Since 2015, the Polar Plunge has raised $146,750 for Special Olympics with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the athletes through sports programs, uniforms and accommodation’s for events.

Join us for the plunge on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Peel Regional Police Association, 10675 Mississauga Road, Brampton. Anyone can register for the plunge, simply donate or attend the event to give support.

Registration:                      4:30pm – 6:00pm

Opening remarks:              6:00pm – 6:30pm

Plunge begins:                   6:30pm

Registration Fee: Cadets/ Recruits $25 (or raise $50.00 to waive the fee)

                                                           Adult Registration $75 (or raise $150.00 to waive the fee)

Prizes will also be awarded for the Top Earning Team and Top Earning Individual. The deadline for online donations is midnight February 7th, 2019.
