We are fully booked for the following programs: ONLINE SAFETY, PERSONAL SAFETY
We still have sessions available for: COMMUNITY HELPERS/911 and PEDESTRIAN & BICYCLE SAFETY

The Peel Children’s Safety Village is offering the following virtual programs:

To enhance the interactive experience of our virtual programs, we request that all in class students please participate on individual devices with headphones if possible. (BYOD)

Community Helpers/911 (Kindergarten - Grade 2) 45 mins

  • Introduces students to the Safe People within our community: Police, Firefighters and Paramedics.
  • Learn about their uniforms, tools and vehicles.
  • What a 911 emergency is
  • What happens when someone calls 911
  • Importance of knowing your personal information (address, telephone number)

 

Personal Safety (Grade 2-4) 45-60 mins ***FULLY BOOKED ***

  • Learn what Personal Safety is
  • Personal Safety Rules
  • Bad People
  • Tricks ‘Bad’ people use to get close to children
  • What to do if a bad person tries to take them

Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety (Kindergarten - Grade 3) 30-45 min

  • How to be a Safe Pedestrian
  • Stop, Look ALL Ways & Listen
  • Crosswalks, Traffic Lights & Railroads
  • Rules of the Road (Bicycle)
  • Importance of a Bicycle Helmet
  • How to fit a Helmet (2 v 1)

 

Online Safety (Grade 4-6) 2.5 hour workshop (+ breaks) ***FULLY BOOKED ***
