2017 United Way Campaign

This November, Peel Regional Police launches the 2017 United Way internal fundraising campaign. PRP and the United Way of Peel Region have a 23-year-long partnership. Last year we supported over 204,000 people across Peel Region and raised an amazing amount of $62,000! Over the years our employees have raised over $1.7 million to support those in need within our community. This is the largest campaign in the public sector collectively!

More than 226,000 people in our region live in poverty and child poverty rates are 18% across the region. That number is higher than the provincial and national poverty rates! PRP is proud of our ongoing partnership with the United Way of Peel Region and their 53 associated agencies which deliver 88 programs and initiatives throughout Peel Region. These programs help make our community a better place to live, work and visit.

Together we support our Vision of a Safer Community Together.
