40th Anniversary

On January 1, 1974, five local police departments; Brampton Township, Chinguacousy Township, Mississauga Township, Port Credit and Streetsville, amalgamated to form Peel Regional Police. This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the creation of an organization that has grown to become the third largest municipal police service in the country.

The Peel Regional Police 40th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration held on January 18th, 2014 was a great success.
